B Is for Bravery

What I'm about to tell you might raise a few eyebrows but I don't care, 'cause I'm brave. Okay, here goes... I, Tyson McFrost, am going to write a steamy, sex-filled women's fiction novel called COITUS. It revolves around a housewife in her forties who is bored and fed up with her life, her children and her husband, who she suspects is cheating. Until she meets Brian. Mr. Brian is a sexy, muscular twenty-three-year-old auto technician who gives our heroine the sexual ride of her life. And then she meets Taylor, a handsome twenty-five-year-old musician who is into threesomes and every fetish under the sun.

This book is going to be taboo, but I have a feeling women will love it.

This story won't let me go and every time I try to forget it I think of my heroine and Taylor doing it on a swing. I don't know a lot of young men who are willing to write stories like this for women but I'm brave enough to try.

I don't think we should be afraid to thread into the unexplored because, as the saying goes, you never know what could happen.

I AM BRAVE!

I would very much like to be your CP for this one LOL! Have you started writing it yet? :D

I still have Portrayer to finish, so when I'm done with that I'm gonna start this one. Man, it's weird...I've never had a story bug me this much to be written. It's as clear as day in my head.

It'll also be the first time I write a story without any real plot--it's gonna be like a fun read, something like Eat Pray Love or the new phenom Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm actually excited and it's freaking me out a little.

If it won't leave you alone, it's a good sign that it's going to be brilliant!

I'm excited for it already!! :D

I hope it's brilliant. I can capture the sex perfectly because I am, well, quite freaky as it is. LOL. But it will be a true test of my skill as a writer to capture the female experience.

Oddly enough, I have confidence I can. Maybe I was a house wife in my previous life? 0_0

Hey Tyson, you just made me lol! I will also line up to be your CP, as you said you are a brave young man!
You will probably do very well! Good luck!

Whoa. That's going to be an interesting project. I couldn't do it, as I'm far too prude!

Just don't call her "heroin." I think you meant "heroine." ;)

If you pull something like this off, I will be incredibly impressed! Wish I could see your critique partners blushing faces when they edit your drafts!!!!

I'd love it too. I can't wait to read it :)

You are brave... and why the hell not. Sometimes when a story stick with you, it does for a reason. Don't question it, just get it down on paper and worry about the rest later. :)

Oh my gosh, you are brave. I'm one of those people who would giggle throughout the whole thing cuz I'm too immature to read the word boobs or nipple or balls or you know... all of that without laughing. I'm laughing right now!

Funny thing, I put all those in my books. Hmm...

Sounds like a rockin' (in more than one way) type of story. I'd read it! :)

C.M. - I'll definitely send it to you once I'm done.

Jay - See why having CPs is so important, I totally missed that. Although naming a protag Heroin sounds pretty cool, right? LOL

Michael - Thanks buddy!

Mina - Invaluable advice. Thank you so much.

Cassie - There's gonna be very little boobs but lots of balls and dick. Did I make you laugh even more? ^_^

Deans - Nice pun! LOL.

Hehe! Um ya, you did :)

Now out of curiosity how many 40, bored housewives have you interviewed as part of your research ;) JK

Gender doesn't matter talent does. I know of a few men who write some VERY good sex/romance from a woman's perspective.

If the story demands to be written then write it - looks like you have quite an audience for it already Yay!

That is brave! LOL. Just kidding. If that's what you're inspired to write, then do it. :D

MAJK - Does my nextdoor neighbor count as research?

Emily - Thanks Emily. :D

Doesn't sound like my kind of story, but you're right. You should be brave enough to do what you believe. Best of luck!

New follower here. I’m enjoying reading my fellow “A to Z”ers. I look forward to visiting again.

Definitely go for it. You have to write the story in your head.

Good for you, and thanks for joining my blog hop!

Sarah - Thank you Sarah!

Jaycee - Are you kidding me? When I saw it I had to get on board. It is truly going to be LEGENDARY!

I think because I've had the luxury of getting to read some really good steamy novels that I'd have to say two thumbs up to you for being brave like this. I haven't read a hot erotica or steamy romantica penned from a male perspective. It would definitely be interesting to see the voice for each character and how you handle the menage a trois element hinted at in the premise.

Following back Frost Lord :-)

Sounds like you have a very clear concept! Good luck with the book!

Chick-lit, eh? Rather you than me. That kind of bravery is more than I'm capable of :P

Bill the Butcher said...

Oh yeah, one other thing; your top picture makes me salivate. I'm itching to write one of my politically-loaded fantasy tales based on it.

T.D. McFrost said...

Thanks Dusty and Bill the Butcher. :D

I say go for it. You might even find a male audience that didn't exist. Look at mm romance and how many straight women are writing it and reading it now.

I will so buy it so write it now! :)
