There are a lot of great books that I fancy but very few that I love. My most favorite Young Adult novel is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. There are many reasons for this, but the one that stands out is Professor Umbridge, the battle at the Ministry and Dumbeldore vs Voldemort. It doesn't get any better than that.
What's your favorite Young Adult novel?

I don't think I could pick just one. There are so many. But I love YA :)
I can recommend three...since you asked ;)
Both are written by Michael Northrope.
One is "Gentleman."
The other is "Trapped."
Both are excellent books that crossover into mainstream fiction.
Another is "Jumpstart the World," by Catherine Ryan Hyde...author of "Pay it Forward." Ms. Hyde, incidentally, just released her first self-published book on Amazon Kindle and I think it's the first time she did this. This gets back to your other post about published authors now going the self-publishing route. A lot of readers still don't know this.
I would pick Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - I love that book so much!
I don't read many YA books. Some people have said that my sci-fi book is YA. My protag is 17, but I'd never consider it YA because of the adult nature, sex, graphic violence, nudity, and adult situations.
